Hugh Cameron was a British Painter, watercolourist. Genre scenes, portraits. Hugh Cameron studied under Robert Scott Lauder at the Trustees Academy in Edinburgh. He was a member of the Royal Scottish Academy and the Royal Scottish Watercolour Society. He exhibited from 1871 in London at the Royal Academy, the Suffolk Street Gallery and the Grafton Gallery.
