Jodi Maas was born in Manhattan, Kansas. She lived in Hong Kong for 5 years and was able to experience the diverse and fascinating beauty of many exotic cultures including India, Nepal, Thailand, Japan and the Philippines. After extensive travels she now calls Arizona home. Maas graduated with a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Illustration from Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She has been working as an artist for over 20 years. The subtle, rich layering and depth in her work are an invitation into a soft ethereal mystique.
