Urbain Huchet was born on April 4th, 1930 in Rennes, France. In his first 30 years he attended law school and also spent some time in the textile industry. By 1960, a self taught painter, Huchet, moved to Pont Aven and began his art career. Many of his works are influenced by his love of the landscape and people in this region.
